In IT Management, Microsoft

On September 30th, 2010, Microsoft will no longer make the Windows XP operating system available for new computers. This includes all computer manufacturing vendors (such as Dell, HP, Gateway, Toshiba, etc.) who were previously allowing the operating system to be preinstalled. This does not mean that Microsoft is no longer supporting the operating system from a security standpoint (i.e. Microsoft Updates). If you need a new computer with a license of XP, it MUST be purchased before the end of the month.
